Default removing super glue... :(

ok so i am stupid, well i mean i have my stupid moments and 30 min. ago one decided to pop up. My front air dam was driving me crazy in an area where the tape was not sticking and i decided after multiple double tape replacements f*ck it and whipped out the super glue. Now it isnt as bad as it sounds... when that didnt work i peeled off the tape, cleaned the area up and replaced the tape lower and whala it worked but now i have a very thin visible line of super glue exposed and it will drive me insane. I dont think oops, goo gone, or off will work with super glue.... am I f*cked

I don't know man but it seems like you really care about your car. I would take it to a body shop or even a car detailer and get suggestions from those guys.. Good luck bro..

I do care about her, its almost pathetic haha but i have a girl friend so i dont feel like a total looser haha, so looked onto a detailing website where there was a page specifically on super glue on car paint haha whala, the mr. clean magic eraser removes super glue from clear coated cars!!! Now i am excited knowing i am not left in the dark

I will try it as the ginny pig to all the other ppl who have a stupid moment and use super glue

Super glue is not flexable and the bond will seperate
over time.
Best to take it to a professional before you have another blunder moment.
Throw the 'super glue' away as it is good for nothing but fixing broken
porous china and gluing unsuspecting patrons of Lowes to the toilet seat. The fumes it produces causes all sorts of white haze
on anything you use it on.
That will bug the heck out of you also.
NASA dont use super glue and neither should you...

Just bought some super glue the other day and it said to use vegtable oil to break it down. I didn't think that would work very well, but I dunno...

Atleast its just superglue... I'm still fighting with a thin layer of silicone from where my sideskirts used to be.

Superglue is like clear lacquer you can wet sand it smooth and polish it out just like clear coat. It is done all the time on guitar bodies. Acetone will dissolve superglue but it will also dissolve your paint so you don't want to use that on a car body on your finger works great.

what front air dam did you get? does it not use any screws to hold it up? if youre only using double sided tape id try make it more sturdy with at least a screw on each side of the bumper.
