need some audio suggestions

I just put Pioneer TSA 6X8's in the doors and they sound great...bought from crutchfield for $65 with Free shipping and dynamat for $5. Came with the adaptors and the door panel instructions which made this super easy. It made a huge difference in the sound, especially if you were "OK" with the factory radio.

I would go with some infinity speakers. I had 6x9s in my accord without an amp or anything and loved them. Clean, clear, and a good bit of bass. Got pretty loud too. Now i have a 12" kicker installed plus some pioneer 6x8s awaiting install/amp
Just get some good speakers then when you realize if you want hard bass or not, you wont have wasted money

Op.. don't replace the door subs.. just amp them with a better aftermaket amp (ie JL 250/1). The better headunits IMO are alpine and eclipse. I wouldn't keep the stock head unit, if you are replacing the speakers. Don't go to best buy either.
