Default Passing Inspection with SCT

Hello all,

I haven't posted in a while so hello to all.

I have an SCT tuner and cold air intake made by Tunable Induction. I am using their pre-set tune on my 2005 v6 mustang.

I have never had a problem passing inspection before, but now I am getting the message 'unsupported' for all the OBD sensor readings. Is this because of the tuner? I have never had this problem before getting the car passed even with the SCT.

I am not sure where my SCT tuner is because I figured I'd never have a problem, but I guess I was wrong. Could I try taking off the negative battery terminal for 20 minutes or so and then driving it and trying again or will only resetting the computer to factory settings fix this problem?

Thanks for any help,

Mike

Revert your tune back to stock because the tuner turns some sensors off.... After you revert it back to stock drive around for a day or so because your car will be back in learning mode, after that try again.

You don't need to unhook the battery. Just load your stock tune back in (you may need to put your stock airbox on too) and drive around for about 50 miles. I have learned the hard way that it is the only surefire way to pass NY inspection.

I told you what to do, disconnecting the battery isn't going to turn the sensors on. Your aftermarket tune has them turned off.
