Default Pioneer AVH P3200BT.....need speaker help

I like the Pioneer AVH P3200BT unit, has everything I want, dont care for navigation as I live on an island.

As far as speakers, I am not sure what to buy. I would rather not install a seperate amp and subs, but I would like to replace door and rear deck speakers that will put out some bass. I dont need thumping bass. I have these in my truck and they sound good but dont know it they are the best ones for a mustang.

Somebody suggested these in another thread I read.....Infinity Kappa with a dongle thingy.

or these Kickers

There are so many to choose from.......its quite overwhelming. Kinda like shopping for wheels.

What about using the stock speaker wire. Can I do that? With the harness and all those cool connectors that crutchfield supplies is this a straighforward install or PIA? I use to install stereos in my cars back in the day but back then I had cheap crap and sloppy skills.
Thx

Hey 808,

I know that when I purchased my Eclipse unit I also got the wiring harness that made for a quick/easy installation. Initially I thought it was supposed to replace something, but htne I realized it's just used to hook up the eclipse to the stock stuff. It does however have a bunch of connectors and such that I didn't need/use but I'm in no way an expert to determine and remove what is not needed as it's all integrated. It only required some soldering, which was pretty easy being my first time.

I would however cut down the wires next time to make it shorter/more compact, but right now it serves it's purpose and is clean and installed.

People underestimate how easy these cars come apart and put back together. No information on changing out speaker wires and speakers though I'm afraid. Having recieved all my advice and guidance from Crutchfield, I would recommend getting those answers about the wiring and such from them. I think I would prefer any plug and play design that uses the stock wiring/mounts/etc... but then again currently I am happy enough with my shaker 1000 setup. (with new HU)

You'll be happy with the Pionner, I got the 3100. The only problem I had with it is for some reason I can't run my door subs (have the Shaker500) without it crackling and making other weird noises. My friend that installed it couldn't figure it out , he works at Bestbuy as a head audio installer... I also have mine bypassed with a switch in my center console to allow the playing of DVD's/adjusting audio settings without having the car in park.
