Looking for a good price on some california special side scoop for a Alloy (Color code G5) 08' GT mustang, really love the look of the OEM ones, found a few but price wasn't reasonable and they weren't painted, should I go unpainted then go from there?... Anything helps

I bought them painted from bangastang

 

RPI designs has some side scoops that are almost identical to the GTCS ones and they come prepainted for around $189 (+ 10% coupon)

Nice, the OEM GT/CS are the only scoops I've seen that I like. Not too bad on the price either

 

you'll need to buy them and get them painted. I got mine from www.partscheap.com
and had a friend of a friend who owns a bodyshop spray them for me. The scoops unpainted were $179.00, original Ford Mustang GTCS scoops.
