I am currently running Bama's tune on my 2011 GT auto. It holds gear longer, shifts better and has better throttle response. It will also rev to the full 7000rpm.

Anyways, I'm gonna go to the drag strip tomorrow so I can compare the results to my stock run.

That sounds great since i have an auto also. What was your stock run? Do you have just a tune or CAI also?

I just have the tune. I will get a CAI later and get them to send me a new tune (free tunes for life WIN).

My stock 1/4 time was 13.2 @ 109mph. Thats a stock 2011 GT auto with 3.15 gears, stock pirelli pzero nero all seasons.

folks have been asking that question for years here.
Has anything changed with the answers with the new engines?

It's obvious that custom tunes on the 5.0 are providing some solid gains. We've seen a few before/after dynos but there's not enough data to say with confidence what the overall, typical gains are on the 5.0 but the data seems to indicate near equivalent % gains (or a tad less) to those with the 4.6L.

Just do it.
