Default A Frustrating Problem

I have a 2005 V6 that has a frustrating intermitent problem. Every so often I the car starts to hesitate, stall, buck, basically run roughly. I have even had it lock out the acceleration pedal until I cleared the codes. The problem goes away after I remove the air cleaner and idol the engine with the air cleaner removed. Then everything starts to run normal again.

The codes that come up are P2135, P2104, P2106, P2111 and P2112. I am thinking it is the Mass Air Flow Sensor and when it fails triggers these problems. Any ideas?

Have you cleaned the MAF with MAF cleaner?
Also is the filter clean?

Id make sure both were clean and even think about cleaning the
throttle body.

If you have the codes, why are you guessing?

P2135- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "A" / "B" Voltage Correlation

P2104- Throttle Actuator Control System - Forced Idle

P2106- Throttle Actuator Control System - Forced Limited Power

P2111- Throttle Actuator Control System - Stuck Open

P2112- Throttle Actuator Control System - Stuck Closed

Certainly begin by cleaning the TB and MAF and installing a new filter. Quite often, unrelated codes can be thrown due to air flow restrictions, air leaks, dirty equipment.

Yeah isn't it great? This car, as much as I do love it, does enjoy making me look like a fool, and this is one way it can do it. One of these days I'm going to datalog this issue and see what's going on. In general this car can get very angry when pulling away from startup, even if you let it run for a minute. I don't get it...

I thought this problem was just mine, but yeah, my car is grumpy when the engine is still cold. Bucks, kicks, and seems torque-y as hell

I agree with all of the above.
Basically, maintenance is required...

Just for good advice: DO NOT, run your engine without an air filter, even for a short while.
You will get a funky code for sure (YEIF 101) lol.
