PAINTING DASH PIECES.

Okay, a few pictures of the gauges lit up for darkness - I adjusted the tach overlay, it was off a little bit so I bought a new one and it was hard to line up all the little icons on the bottom so I decided to make it cover only the top half. Now I'm thinking about ways to modify the other gauges for a different look using only part white.

yes, the OEM vents are available in black (there were none in 2005 I believe) but after looking at the price most sane owners will opt to paint it themselves!
Go with flat black, not glossy, unless you like dusting every day.

Here's what they look like along with the p/n's:
Satin ring with black vents (Bullitt dash) 7R3Z-19893-AA
Chrome ring with black vents - 7R3Z-19893-AB
They are not cheap though... ~$25 for the chrome ring and $35 for the satin ring (each) depending on the dealer.

I think the silver dashes look TONS better than the black ones. Didn't look bad at all on flash_xx's because he has the tan/black theme, but with my black interior, I need some contrast against all the black.
Now I just need to find someone to give me their stock vents! CJPonyParts wants like 175 if my memory is right
