higher octane then 93?

Default higher octane then 93?

how many gallons do you put into your car.. how often. what are the positive and negative of higher octane? just wanted to know yall's thoughts.

Will do nothing for you unless your computer is tuned to take advantage of it. Higher octane takes longer to burn. In theory, you'll get the best performance from the LOWEST octane your engine can run maximum tuned (meaning what its already tuned for) timing at and not detonate.

like stated its not doing much for you unless you have a tune for it. 94 running on a 93 might work if the 93 tune had a little ping or if you increase the settings manual with the tuner and the 93 tune.

As stated above, you need to be tuned for higher octane to take full advantage of any power gain.

a couple stations do, Phillips 66 and Sunoco are the ones i know do in my region

im in ga so i go to this local gas station that sells 98 and 110.
