Nope! just a regular 4.6 in the shinoda boss i beleive. the boss 302 crate motor is and old-school design.

I see, I thought Boss implied it was a 302. How did they pull off 800 hp with the stock block? Or rather without exploding the stock block.

the block is strong enough to hold it. Not for a 100,000 mile car, but for a show car its fine. The things that would have to get changed is the rotating assembly. If they built that car to last more then a few passes I would assume at 800 hp, they have a forged rotating assembly, or it was built with a aluminator 4.6

wow, read man... read....

"The BOSS Shinoda Mustang carries an awesome 800 horsepower under it’s hood. This extremely retro Grabber Blue (and black) Mustang pictured here is the first Boss Shinoda Mustang of 2010. Team Shinoda evidently plans on several different styles, horsepower packages, and colors. The one we have pictures of today is stickered with the #10-001 serial number as well as having it stamped into the firewall. Horsepower is provided by the stock Ford Mustang GT 4.6-liter V8 but with a Paxton NOVI 2200 supercharger bolted on."

Right in the article you linked. Also, THE Shinoda has 800 hp. THIS is a production Boss Shinoda that looks like they are going to start trying to sell as a package. They never say how much HP, but if that is all it has, your looking at like 420-460 rwhp.

Yeah I read where it said that it was a stock 4.6 GT motor, I also read in a different article that it was a 4V, and the stock is a 3V. I also read that the stock block cant handle that much horse power and if it is a stock motor it doenst have a forged rotating assembly. I figured something has to be wrong in the article somewhere, or I had to have miss read something.

So the 800 hp doesn't apply to the vehicle the article is talking about, I see. I didnt see how it could if it had a stock motor. Thanks.

I dont see how it can carry boss on its side if it doesnt have a boss engine.
