Advice on new GT
This is hard...my first Mustang GT and lots of money in the new investment and after looking and looking at them I have decided to buy or maybe lease a 2011 GT/California Special package, however I am in doubt about the colors:
BLACK was the first option, but now I think that the Red candy metalic or the Ingot Silver Metalic would be a better option due to the side tape stripes that the BLACK does not have it.
The car will stay outside on a driveway, NO GARAGE, so that is also a factor for chosing the color.
1-Any opinions on the colors to be chosen, considering that the car will stay outisde on the driveway.
2-Have you seen any of the TWO mentioned colors: Red candy Metalic and Silver Metalic in person? do they look MUSCLE?
Epxerienced opinions for the above issue will be highly appreciated.
Thank you all,
LCL

Silver hides dirt real well, it tends to look "clean" until it gets VERY dirty. Black, forget it. I couldn't keep my last black GT clean and it was garaged. The red would be my favorite choice of those color-wise. Mine is silver because it was a leftover a few weeks ago, so I had no choice. I think the car looks good in any of the colors personally....
Ditto Mudflap
If you can't garage your car, silver tends to hide dirt amazingly well. Dark cars show everything as do white. Plus when you do clean them you get surprised on how much better they look... a win/win

+1 on not going with black unless you have a garage AND the car won't be a DD. Otherwise, the car WILL be noticeably dirty almost all the time and you'll be forever removing swirl marks.
The only color I saw on a Stang that didn't yell "MUSCLE" was a foxbody in pink. Yes, I said PINK. Flaming, gay pink. I wanted to puke and my g/f was laughing hysterically.

Thanks a lot for all replies, that makes it easier for me to choose between the Candy RED Tintend and the Silver. I think they both look great, maybe the silver looks cleaner after all?
I am in BAYSIDE, 11361, if anybody out there, it would be great to meet with you.

Thanks for sharing the link with pictures.
Now I just have to wait for next SPRING maybe!, so I don't have a GT seating as a second car on the driveway in WINTER.
Regards to all,
