Auto window close after door is shut--2005 Mustang GT
When I bought my Mustang and saw the window that rolls down slightly when you open the door and then closes fully when the door is shut, I thought "there's something that can break," and mine has:
The window on the driver's door rolls down slightly when the door is opened but doesn't roll back up when the door is closed. Is this something I can fix myself, some sort of sensor or something? If not, what is it likely to cost at the dealer.
Also, after 5 years am having a problem with the gauges: Tac is like the needle is loose on its pin (it doesn't register at right at all) and now, my oil gauge is off center (the needle range is shifted left and up past the Low Pressure indicator). How hard is this to fix?
Noting some slippage in tranny in Drive now on occasion. I have maintained the car well but now am worried things are starting to fail. Advice, please????

Fixed my window issue after talking to a Ford Service Technician:
Windows open and close slightly when doors are opened and closed. My driver's side door quit going back up. It's called a Window Timing Problem and easy to fix:
1. Turn ignition key to where gauges light up but car doesn't start.
2. Push both windows (driver and passenger) down and hold for six seconds.
3. Pull both window switches up to close and hold up for six seconds.
4. Repeat step two.
5. Repeat step three.
6. Turn off ignition.
7. Start car.
8. Turn off car and the windows should operate properly again.
