Could be a loose exhaust hanger or other exhaust component under the car, I have a similar sound that mine makes and cant figure it out.

You might take a peek at TSB 06-4-1.
I know this TSB is for 05-06 Stangs, but it fixed my 07.
The exhaust hanger isolators on the trans cross member might be loose.
It's a cheap $4 fix. Ford shoulda fixed this one by now, but who knows......

A TSB is a technical service bulletin basically a directory Ford putd out for problems they experience with our cars and the fix...

Here it is. It's RPM related, so I thought i'd throw it out there. Might be worth a look.

The 05-10's (yes, your '10 is pretty much the same as the '05-09's) are notorious for rattles due to a few chronic issues and all deal with harmonics at certain engine RPM's:
  1. Tranny separator plate (there's a TSB for this)
  2. heat shield rattle
  3. exhaust hanger-to-frame contact
  4. exhaust clamp, retorque required

And where, by chance have you been so misinformed that a catback and springs might void your warranty? Tell the panty hose wearer that gave you that informatipon to turn in his man card and shut his f**king trap.

That kind of crap just burns me up.

You're under warranty now so take it in and at least it'll be documented.
