Default Modding plan help

Hi guys, I'm running into bit of a dilemma here with my CDC Chin Spoiler I have. So I have gone to 2 shops so far, called 2 people and they are charging $300-$350 just to paint my chin spoiler (WTF)! Can I ask why the hell is it so much everywhere? I did some reading online and people were getting them sprayed for $125-$200 no problem it seems. It's currently sprayed black but I want to get it Vista Blue like my car.

So what should I do here? Should I sell my black one and buy a pre-painted one because the price of them pre-painted is the price they're charging me to spray the damn thing. How much could I get for mine? It's in good condition. Almost makes me want to try and get a whole new front fascia but that would be pricey. My first upgrade I want to do is wheels and I think a front fascia would put that off real bad and slow my upgrade process greatly.

My plans are right now in this order are to:

-Buy Saleen S Style wheels (Roush ones are too pricey )
-Roush quarter window louvers
-427R side stripe (without 427R wording)
-Roush spoiler (best to place to buy one from?)

By next April/May I will be getting all these mods done hopefully and this chin spoiler is just being a pain getting started with.

I got my Roush wing from stage 3 motorsports, pre-painted. They have free shipping. It was actually dropped shipped directly from Roush Performance and was less in cost than buying direct.

Painting is costly.. you can keep trying some more shops and if you can't find anything reasonable in price, like you said, cut your loss, buy a pre-painted and sell your current one. Only downside is that paint may not be 100% accurate since your car has been exposed to the elements for 4 years now. Taking it into the shop, they can match any color fades or quirks.

Depends on what fascias you want. IT is very costly and you need to paint it on top of that but it really does change the appearance of the car.

Yeah exactly. How much do you think I can sell mine for? And I'll check that spoiler out in a few minutes also. I might just have to buy it pre-painted. My car is in excellent shape so hopefully the pre-paint will match pretty good although the 4 year thing like you said no doubt is a worry but I'm sure blending isn't too bad to get.

And yeah front fascias look amazing, guarantee it is super costy though. Love the Roush like you have also the Cervini is really catching on to me lately, gorgeous cars!

If I can get rid of mine for a decent price maybe I'll go in the pre-painted option.

Depends on what the running price of one is. If its in great condition, try 75% of purchase price, and if that doesnt work, gow lower
