you should get a 5.0 then instantly trade it in for a new ss i mean how will you handle the lack of mullet factor. the 5.0 can barely handle an M3 and you would take it over an LS2 motor, the motor alone with just some wheels on it would beat anything on the road

 

There are tons of magazines dedicated to comparing the SS and GT today. The GT continues to win every single time.

They'll probably start taking orders mid '11 since they're a '12 car. That would be my guess. Good luck getting one, they're limited production

On a new GT 5.0, you can probably expect to get maybe a grand or two off MSRP or so. Its going to depend on what the availability is like where you're at I think. Welcome to the board man, let us know what happens.
