Start all over on what? You'd be financially ahead to keep it if you are thinking about modding any new ride.

Your questions is too broad to answer really. What would you be replacing it with and what would you do to it.

But like I said, financially you're better off keeping your current car. You won't make the Mod money back.

Keep it until the 2014 anniversary remodel. Then you can choose whether you want that model, the 2010-2013 model, or stay with the 2005-2009 model. Your car looks good so I'd keep it.

85K really isn't that many miles anymore, especially since yours is well-maintained. The S197 is a reliable beast. I have 180K on a Toyota and it still runs like a champ. I just can't find any reason to get rid of it. If you are making a purely financial decision, you're almost ALWAYS better off keeping an older car until it starts needing more repairs than it is worth. That's probably years from now in your case. A car is an expense, not an investment. However, if you KNOW that you are going to sell within a year or two anyway, then you might take a look at the depreciation curve (like LostBoyz says) and get ahead of it. However, you'd have to factor in the loss you'd take on current mods and the cost of new mods that you'll inevitably do.

If you still like the car keep it and don't worry about the miles. A good friend has a 2007 GT that he uses in his business travels and it has well over 200K on it. Outside of normal maintenance the only thing he has replaced is the alternator which quit at around 150k.
