Default Reset the battery.

Well i disconnected my battery so i could remove/clean my throttle body..
Does this mean id have to re-tune my car again? Or does the tune stay on the car no matter what unless you switch it back to stock yourself with the handheld.
Thanks

Otherwise, Ford would be reloading a BUNCH of 'Tunes',
one everytime someone changes the battery in their Ford.
The 'Tune' is stored in non-volatile memory in the PCM.
The 'Tune' is retained until the vehicle exits the crusher.

But you will have to re-learn the adaptive learning...
Read the Owners Manual for info about this procedure
in the 'disconnecting the battery' section...

... and resetting of the adaptive learning is usually a good thing, at least after the first 20-30 miles after reconnecting the battery.

Yep, while the timing and fuel tables are unadulterated.

My battery crapped out on me this past weekend and I had to replace it. I did not have to do anything with the tune. Once I installed the new battery, the car felt a heck of a lot stronger too. =-)

Or "adaptive un-learning" to be more precise...
