Hello all, i'm having to go toward atlanta this am and was wwondering where the speed shops might be, someone that stocks parts, having been out of the looop for some time I wouldn't mind finding a couple more besides summit

I just got back from Mustangs Unlimited in Lawrenceville. Picked up a set of 3.73's for my automatic. They only sell Mustang parts and have a HUGE selection. It's not much of a "browsing" showroom but they stock 99% of what's in their catalog. That will be the closest speed shop to your location. Barnett Performance is just east of downtown Atlanta. Summit Racing is way down on the south side in McDonough, GA. All three of the above have a HUGE selection. Happy shopping!

Then you spoke with somebody who didn't know their inventory. I don't know what you were looking for, but they had Steeda CAI's, SCT tuners, Roush fascia/spoiler/etc., axle-back exhausts, etc., for the 2011 GT's.

 

We called them not long after we saw the post here, just asked if they had any 2011 5.0 performance parts in stock, they didn't even ask what I might be looking for told us not now, even said thier catalog didn't have the 2011 stuff in it yet, (actually my wife called I was driving)

Well, i just got 0ff the phone with them again, I asked about coming down to see the place and about tuners, air intakes, general performance mods, style bars (we have a convertible), again they told us, they did not have anything in stock for the 2011 GT, they could order for us,

I even said so is there a reason for me to come down, he said look at our web there is no reason to come down today.

I tried, if they do carry stuff for our car in stock stock, they sure have communication issues internally, which as big as the place looks I find strange, maybe they are out of stock now?

 

Well after driving down to MU we can confirm there are no internal communication issues...you bought the only items in stock .
the guys are a load of fun and very knowledgeable...we will certainly be dealing with them again...the wife does feel better now that she bought a mustang keychain and mug to hold her over until the performance parts get ordered <g> oops they did have some lowr control arms......
