+1, I noticed that as well. Must have figured they could get away with it if they switched drivers.

One things for sure, that sterling gray Mustang in the 1st episode was hot!

I too was looking forward to a high speed chase....oh well.

Looks like the other guys were right.

Pilot episode: Danno drives a hot Mustang.

Episode 2: McGarrett is driving so that we dont notice the switcheroo.

Episode 3: Danno is now driving a Camaro and is so depressed about it that he takes all the frustration out on his ex-wife for having to drive an ugly pig.

Not sure what you mean by the tax money thing but I know I couldn't get to my house the other day when I was coming home from work because they were filming on my street. That was about the time that the "cool to be part of it" factor ran out gas. I could have dealt with getting blocked by the 5.0 Mustang though

It's in reference to the bailout. Most of the sponsorship money is coming from that funding. Seems GM's marketing and ad sponsoring has gone into overdrive lately.

My wife thought I was high when I told her they made the switch and thought no one would notice going from the blue oval to bowtie.
