Default 289-302 in a s197?

Ok i have a 289 that i rebuilt, that was going in my 67 coupe. I have a few thoughts about the engine. Should it still go in the 67 or in my 07 coupe that curently has a 4.0 v6?

It'll be illegal to put in the 07 so... your call. It'll probably be easier to put in the 67.

Not illegal if it's fuel injected, which is easily doable these days.
Problem is, a 289 isn't gonna move the car a whole lot better that the 4.0 and for all the troubles of a conversion, it's not worth doing it if you don't push close to 500hp IMO.

IIRC, in Texas at least, it's illegal to put an engine from anything older than the vehicle year. So if for what ever reason I wanted to swap in a 98 V6 into my 2000, I couldn't do it legally.

Longer, wider runners provide more power. Usually about 10-15rwhp when combined with a tune
