I was there when he got these done, I will say this, the BO looks a LOT better WITHOUT the faux gas cap on the 2010-11 models. On the 05-09 I persoanlly like them.

This isn't a Lamborghini or Ferrari....it's a Ford Mustang! Geesh...you custom guys are all cut from the same mold. Does it make the car go faster? NO! How's that for sugar coating the isssue?

In the end, if you dig it and it gets you laid more, it's your choice bro!

I think this entire post sums up the word "ignorance". You kind of slapped yourself in the face, stating that this isn't a Lamborghini or Ferrari. See, those are the kind of cars that don't need any modification to the body, as they are both rare and arguably perfect from the factory.

The Mustang is a dime-a-dozen, and is just (bland) enough to sell to main stream consumers. I'm not saying it's not a beautiful car from the factory, but it's definitely not perfect, either.

That said, DT, I cannot personally say I would put that piece on my car. However, that is definitely not a bad thing, as you are obviously aiming to personalize the car, and compete in shows! There is a reason the guy with the 30" rims and pink neon underglows always wins the show, because of the car being unique. Can't wait to see your next mods

very well said.

And yeah I have been going to the show's, and competing. Haven't taken home a trophy yet, but i did manage to get Vaughn Gittin Jr. to sign my dash at Queen Mary 14 =)

What I'm aiming for is SEMA 2011. And while on the way to that, every show in Southern California. Thank you very much for your positive reinforcement!

Maybe not. But my two extra cylinders along with my engine mods sure make it go alot faster. As far as "perfectly designed". I LOVE the way the
05-09's look but they are'nt 'PERFECT' and i think even less perfect are the 10-11's (no offence owners) I still love em Oh and by the way, its Lamborghini and Ferrari that usually keep the car completely original, not Mustangs, so puttin those into a conversation about customizing is null.

As far as the "Foigitaboudit!" and using that sort of slang let me reinforce MY opinion. Why chop up a perfect language into orange umpa loompa Guido slang garbage? Does it make you smarter or cooler? And how's that for sugar coating the issue?

By the way... The Mustang has a heritage of customization. That is
part of why America has grown to love the car. If we are cut from any mold.... it is the Mustang mold.

Customizing a stang, even it's looks.. is MUCH different than ricing it out.
Your whole argument simply has no merit whatsoever. Might as well FORGET about the whole thing lol.
