Default polishing headers

What products have you guys used to polish stainless steel headers that are starting to turn color?

It's futile, that's what they are supposed to do. You can always have them coated.

i should have gotten them coated before i put them on. I am trying to do this without taking them off. possibly wet sanding them down and then hitting them with polish mix. I wanted to use my mothers powerball to do this so I can get into the hard to reach spots. just dont know about wet sanding

You can hardly see them. What's the point IMO.

As soon as they get hot they will change color again, whats the point... Take them off and have them coated or deal with the fact they arent shiny anymore, I think that is your only real option.

I dont mind them changing color. I think that oil burned into them because I never wiped them down after I put them in. It basically looks like big rust spots in my headers. I thought if I got them cleaned up I could keep that from happening again
