damn my bad i could have sworn the indent goes inward and thats what you trim off if you have a strut bar

 

NP dude, they mod them before paint if you have a strut bar. I'm not sure how though, maybe on those cars they are different. It's also possible you are thinking of the covers for 09 down, they may well look different or install differential for all i know.
