Um, no.
Different rebound rates.
Get Koni and never look back.
But if you dont mind so-so performance,
get the GT struts and put them on
your V6.
You probably wont know the difference.
Install the GT springs and GT front sway
bar while you are at it. Heck why stop
there. Put a 4.6L three valve in there as
well and them the suspension will handle
like OEM.
Dont forget to upgrade to the GT500 upper
strut mounts while you have the struts off
for replacement.
2007 year model and he 'thinks' he needs new struts. ??
Did you run your S197 in the Baja 5000 this summer?
I thrash my 2007 S197 daily and the struts show no
signs of wear yet. Or the brakes for that matter...

Interesting question from 157db...
Why do you need new struts? Unless one or more have failed catastrophically, you shouldn't "need" new ones unless you've capped at least 100,000 miles. I don't get surprised with struts lasting up to 200,000 miles. Wait, you didn't go to Midas or a Quik-Lube for that info, did you?

Now that you've mentioned a noise in the front end, are you familiar with the front end clunk TSB? You may be replacing the struts when it's not needed.

Search 'chuckle' or 'front end clunk'.
Then check your sway bar end links for proper tightness.
Then buy the GT500 upper strut mounts and be happy
you didnt have to lay down cash for new struts when
the old ones are perfectly fine.
Struts dont clunk unless they are really trashed and
the upper seal/bushing is gone and all the fluid has leaked
out.
Any of these things apply to your struts?
