For those with the California Package for the 2011 models, can you provide pictures of the seats so that I can see what this entails?

I love the look of the GT/CS, but when I test drove I found the Carbon Fiber insert made my back sweaty. I realize that sounds kind of strange but I wrote Ford Marketing and they told me it's a "man made material," which is probably why it didn't seem to breathe real well. I live in Atlanta and it can get pretty hot here so I want to make a good decision. Anyone with a GT/CS care to comment on the comfort of the seats?

What don't you like about them? Looks, comfort or other?

 

Just throwing it out there that I personally don't really like the looks of them. The contrast to me is just sorta odd rather than attractive.

 

Meh. I have to agree with you theACE. Thanks for posting those pics. leebo63, if I read somewhere correctly, they are vinyl inserts and not actual leather.

 

I will try and get pics up later. I have a black 2011 gt c/s and love the seats. For some reason they come in lighter on the camera then they are in person. I have also driven 11.5 hours straight and think they are very comfortable. Everyone I have shown my car to thinks the carbon fiber is confortable and bring a higher quality look to the car.

 

Great feedback Micnatt. I love the looks of GT/CS and my only reservation is the feel of the seats because I also think they look good.

 

No emblem on the fender and no Ponies on the doors?

 

I don't like the look and I don't like the missing 5.0 emblem. I would never buy that package myself.
