I also wanted the GT Rear Deck Panel, but the dumb *** dealership said I had to get the CS package for that accessory...WTF? My ***! LOL!

I would lose about $5000-$6000 for the trade-in and my car is worth $22,000 now.

Do you guys think I made the right decision?

Let me put it this way... if you can afford the loss without struggling,
YOU MADE THE RIGHT DECISION. The new 5.0 is a beast, and since you have the same body style then that is of no argument.
That 5.0 is a work of art as far as performance is concerned my friend.

No matter what anyone else says.... If you can afford the
hit you take finacially you made the right decision.
This car will give you much more power and put a nice big
smile on your face. If you can't afford the money hit then no ... you did not make the right decision.

If I wasn't so in love with my body style and put so much hard work into mods then I would have traded mine in... even though mine is not only a year old lol.

Anyways, if you can afford the hit, don't second guess your decision.

I would though.. without a DOUBT try to get more for your car.
If they want to sell the 5.0 to you bad enough they will give you a little more
if you press them for it. Plus, there are always more dealerships to negotiate with!
But if I could take the hit I would grab the 5.0 before I started second thinking the deal lol.

Ha! I said much the same thing to my youngest son upon graduation, only I said I'll put it in the will!

I have been toying around with the decision of trading in also. I have a 2010 premium with nav, glass roof, roush exhaust, comfort package, black out panel with 13000 miles. Not sure how much I should ask for any ideas? Also, I was going to try and use the MCA x-plan with the rebate. I want a 2011 premium, with 3.73, brembo, and glassroof.

If you can afford the hit in depreciation to buy the 2011 now, then a 2012 Boss when it comes out...

Why not just say to hell with both, and pick up a 2011 GT500? With depreciation factored in, you'll probably end up ahead in the end.

I would at least wait for the '12's to come out. Let them have some time to fix a few issues that are creeping up.
