I have a question about the 2011 Mustangs.

If I put on a Magnaflow or Flowmaster exhaust on a 2011 V6 will it have a deep sound like the 2011 V8?

I like the v6 but want the v8 sound.

 

You will get a better sound than stock thats for sure but no you are not
going to sound like a V8.

Closest you are gonna get I would say is to get converted to dual exhaust
and get a set of SLP loudmouths or Boomtubes.

 

The 2011 are already dual exhausts.

 

Different mufflers can make it sound deeper, but its the firing order+number of cylinders (and the size of those cylinders) that give engines their unique sound.

i want my v6 to sound like a gt? ok well that aint gonna happen, you can make it sound good and loud but a GT no... you would need to add 2 more cylinders to sound like that...

I have a v6 and i am running NO cats, X pipe, NO mufflers, DUALS and it is loud as F*uck but if a GT did what I did it would still sound better due to it being a v8... v8 = throaty sound

 

The only v6's I've seen that sound good have dual fart cans.

 

LMFAO 300+ hp still sounds like a v6!
