Default Loud Buzzing From Dash? (Video)

Ok, first off, sorry for using a video from Facebook. I have asked my friend to upload the same video to YouTube, but until then, this is all I have.

My buddy has a 2010 Ford Mustang GT, V8 Manual Trans. (He actually won it from the 2010 Unleashed Series, he was the student who beat his teacher in a drag race.)

Here's his problem. He has a loud buzzing that seems to come from behind the dash. It's only happened to him twice; onces while driving down the highway, and another time when he was simply getting into his car (key wasn't even in the ignition). Other than this buzzing that seems to last only a few minutes, the car has no other issues. At least, none that he says. This is all based on what he has told me and this video.

It's not a rattle type buzz, but sounds like it could possibly be electrical. I don't know if he is going to take it to the Dealership. It's like a dieing horn or something

Any ideas?

LMAO what the ****. Well, this is a new one. That is the weirdest sound coming from a car... ever.

I didn't hear the chime go off when you started the engine... maybe it's a door chime malfunction???

Yea it almost HAS to be a speaker malfunction from the instrument cluster. If it's not that, then I'm not sure what else it could be.

sounds like a chime my old mercedes makes when the lights are left on with the key out. You try banging in that general area to see if it remedy the situation.
