Ok so I think going HID is a good idea..however a couple of questions as I have no idea about them.

As I have the factory halogen headlamps (as HID's were friggin $1200 for the pair).. what do I need to get an HID conversion? Is it even possible because all the HID swaps I've read around are from GT500's with OEM HID's swapping bulbs...

Check Retrosolutions for an HID kit. Best kit going & great customer service. Pure plug & play.

I have Retro-Solutions and couldn't be happier. If you have DRL's you may need a relay to prevent premature death of the bulbs/ballasts. Also, check to see if you will need caps on the bulbs. If so, RS can do this too...

Based on my experience (and a couple others here) stay clear of VVME or any of the other cheapo's on fleaBay... That was a waste of $90 bucks...

I have the 35watt 5000K HID's and they are significantly brighter... Makes driving at night a breeze.

Love, absolutely love, your car by the way. Do you get alot of looks from the locals there in Dubai or the GT500's running around there regularly? Dubai has alot of money if I'm not mistaken, so probably lots of exotics I'm sure.

Guess I will go with retro solutions as everyone has nothing but nice things to say about them on here!

Thanks for the compliment man..Haha the locals here are riding around in $100,000+ cars so I'm just another car on the road around here really! Very few of em prefer muscle cars..the common choices here are Mercs,Porsche's,BMW's,etc..
