In a couple of months, I'm going FI. I need suggestions on the most accurate wideband gauge and where to get it (at a reasonable price). I'll be getting a turbo.

Any suggestions for a boost controller, boost gauge and any other gauges necessary for FI would also be appreciated.

I would suggest autometer cobalt a/f and boost gauge. they are little higher priced. I have heard that some of the reasonable priced gauges are not accurate from guys that have dyno machines. I guess if u wanna play u gotta pay. these two gauges will run u about five hundred dollars

 

Ya Roush, I went through the same thing as you about a year ago after installing my Whipple. I agree with Outceltj above and decided on an Autometer Cobalt A/F wideband and also Autometer's Colbalt Boost/Vacuum and Oil Pressure gauges. Great quality IMO...!! All were installed in Roush vent gauge pods. Hold on, and Have fun being boosted...(LOL) !!

While not cheap I like the quaility of Auto Meter Nexus gauges. In my SOS triple pod I have wideband air/fuel ratio, boost/vacuum and fuel pressure:

I too agree here. Having proper gauges is not cheap. The cheaper gear, usually made in China, and thus, also sometimes unreliable in accuracy and quality, are a crap shoot. You might get a good one and you might get one that does not work properly.

There will be guys who buy the cheap Chinese ones and have good luck with them (no problems and all), but just because a few of them have no problems with them means that the ones that DO have problems with them are are not out there.

Besides, imagine the trouble you would have to go through if you do get a bad gauge and you have to dismount it and send it back for an exchange just to roll the dice again and you might get another bad gauge.

 

I like that pillar pod but I want mine on the dash. How much did you pay for those gauges? I would like mine in white, since I have a roush..
