I cant imagine driving in that! Id have to kiss my chin spoiler goodbye. Move to SoCal and you dont have to worry about it. but then you got C.A.R.B. so chose the lesser of two evils. Good luck making it through another winter!

Damn dude, thats too nice of a car to be subjecting it to weather like that! Buy an old front wheel drive beater to drive in the winter.

Actually, it does snow here, but it is very very rare; it snows maybe once or twice every 10 years.
And when it does, it totally F***s everything up. So many damn Texas can't drive worth a damn even in rain, and sleet on the road = a whole lot of wrecks.
I remember seeing a cop sliding on the ice and rear ending another car that was stopped at a red light. He pushed that car into the intersection! Well, at least the guy he hit didn;t have to call the police to file an accident report!
+1 for Texas weather! It was almost 80 yesterday

I drive my 1994 Toyota xtra cab daily. Bought it brand new back in the day. Has the efi 4 cyl engine and 5 spd. Only part that failed has been the starter. Except for normal wear items like brakes, belts and plugs its never had a clutch, water pump, alternator or even an AC recharge. Nothing! Going on 17 years old with 215 K miles and has been the most reliable and trouble free vehicle I've ever owned. I will never sell that truck!

I hated to see the first "snow dusting" last week. The roads dried the next day, but I know more is on the way

Man I live at almost 8000' of elevation in the mountains and we haven't gotten crap for snow yet. Sunny and blue skies today, but a little chilly in the 40s. I'm sure our day is coming though! Thankfully I've got a 2010 4x4 Xterra with some meaty tires on it for when things get bad... don't really have a choice when you live in a place like I do.

I bought my Mustang January of this year, just in time for it to meet the blizzards that the North East got raped with. Took 2 extra weeks just to get it to the inspection station because it was snowed in, then another 10 days to get it back because it got snowed in at the station.

I was amazed at how poor the traction was even in very minimal snow. My previous car (98 v6) was my main car and took me through 4 winters, but I wouldn't even consider taking my 06 out in the white stuff becuase I know it can't grab traction at all
