The people who are lining up to get the new GT already know more about that car than the dealers do. When I was getting my 09 GT I had done research and already knew all the details. My dealer ran through the bullet points of all the BS. I asked him a few questions about the engine and car. Of course I already knew the answers, I just wanted to see if he knew the answer, would lie and make up an answer, or tel me he didnt know. If he lied I was going elsewhere to buy my car. Luckily he was an honest guy and knew most of the answers but he did tell me he didnt know others. That impressed me so I bought my car from him and gave him a positive review to the sales manager and dealer owner.

Sorry a bit off topic.

if we don't sing the praises of the 5.0 to the masses, from every hill top, pulpit and tower across the land....then the terrorists win.

+1 on the lack of high-end audio knowledge... It is amazing how many people think that Bose sound systems are the best! LOL It's all in the marketing and the gimmicky showrooms they have.

Short story: I saw a neighbor of mine wiping down his Bose surround system main unit in his driveway. I asked what happened. He said that his son spilled grape juice on it and that was $2,700 down the drain. The funny thing was that he was holding it in one hand and wiping with the other hand - it looked super light!

Now back on topic...

Oh, you would be neighbor I could actually get along with. You and I live in a world all on our own. Only a few details and spec really matter....the ones like weight and power are important in our hobbies and few people really look past the advertising to enjoy what they bought. I agree with the whole Bose thing by the way. With the exception of thr 901s they never made any audiophile grade components. As far as Mustangs go though, the car magazines pretty much seem to tell the truth.
