I've got a ton of tools, old and new, so I don't foresee a problem with the ears. I think it will be fun...I'm just waiting to get my power unit for my lift back from the hydrolic shop. The motor burned out and it will come in handy when I remove the front end and install the intercooler..

FINALLY after 5 weeks I got my big 3 boxes from the big brown truck! Just a quick pic to show you how well this supercharger can power up a granite counter top lol!

I went through all the boxes to make sure they included all the proper hardware and component kits as well as made sure they reference the specific build year of 2005 and 2006. The SWEET thing is they pre-assemble the lower manifold now with the intercooler, all pipe fittings, air temp sensor and gaskets! Nice time saver! A note in the install manual said they are doing it now for "quality assurance". The only thing that has me stumped is that this blower has a pressed on pulley. I thought mine was supposed to have a keyway type pulley with a locknut? I'm going to call Roush this morning to verify I have the correct blower even though it was boxed with a label clearly showing for 2005-2006 models. I have read where Roush changed over to a press fit pulley for all model years but that was an advertisement from JDM I saw on the forum. If its the correct blower this means I gotta swap the keyway type 2.57 upgrade pulley I bought from BBR to a press fit. Not worried about the exchange but I will have to buy a special pulley remover/installer for it.

Oh well, I will post back after I find out what Roush says about whether I have the correct blower or not. Anyone else with a 05 or 06 GT have a press fit pulley?

Good to hear you finally got the SC. I bought the puller/installer that Justin at VMP sells and it worked fantastic....took all of 15 minutes to do the swap. A little pricey but, works very well.

Great news. Roush says all new chrome M90s for all years are using the press fit pulley. Bummer is I gotta send my 2.57 keyway pulley back to BBR and get the press fit plus a puller and installer. Oh well, at least I can get started on the install.

Thanks. Just gonna being doing it as my free time permits. It's not my DD so I can take my time. I may start on Monday or Tuesday as well. It's one of those deals where one day it might be an hour at a time and the next opportunity might be 3 hours. I'm just glad the thing is finally here!

Noice! You went ahead with the 2.57 pulley right off the bat?? want a little more than the stock 5-6 psi, eh?

Nothing wrong with that...

Two days short of two months and still nothing, if I ran my business this way I would be living under a freeway overpass by now, pathetic.
