Best Mod Path for N/A

Currently on my car the exhaust I have has no drone... at all! ARH LTs, O/R X, Pypes Mid-Mufflers, and Flowmaster American Thunders (square case). Right now it fits like crap, but only because I haven't gotten to taking out the Pypes section and replacing it with the stock over axle pipes. I have a friend who has the round case Flowmaster American Thunder mufflers on his car with JBA LTs and O/R H and his car doesn't have drone either. In fact, his car is why I purchased the Flowmasters to begin with!
Borla stingers trumpet really bad with LTs and O/R X. Pypes mid-mufflers alone are pretty good sounding with some trumpeting (still more than I like) but they are entirely too loud once I put the cams in.
Also, if you plan on getting cams, my recommendation would be to get 4.10s. The ***** Thumprs would be a pain if I got anything numerically lower.
Hope this helps!

Getting cams, defiantly go with 4.10s. Plan on going FI with a m90 down the road? Then get a cai that will work with the m90 like the steeda unit. Long tubes are always a good idea. Any mid mounted muffler or glass pack will help eleviate trumpeting. Flowmaster American thunder mufflers got rid of all my drone.
As far as suspension mods, I have the m90 with completely stock suspension and have zero issues. I run mt et streets at the track. I don't plan to mod any of it, there's no need.

Alright, Im ready to start improving the performance of my 2010 GT and would love to hear some of your advice in the form of a bullet list as to the best path to follow. I cant afford nor am I brave enough to go FI at this point with my >5K mile stang, but would like to liven it up a little bit.
The car came with 3.31 gears. Here is where I am leaning so far:
1) SCT w/ Breenspeed tune
2) 3.73 gears
3) Header back exhaust? (Being in TX I believe I dont need CATs to pass inspection. Anyone want to suggest a setup sans CATs that would sound good WITH NO DRONE??)
Beyond that and before the Roush M90 Im not sure. I would sure appreciate the suggestions however.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know if you can reuse the cone filter from a K&N cai on a roush m90?
