Default Vortech V3 Preventive Maint.

I had Brenspeed install my Vortech V3-HO last June. Apart from changing the lubricant every 7500 miles, is there any other type of preventive maintenance I should be performing? Thanks!

at 7500 miles, as long as the belt is tight and there's no break up on acceleration- you should be fine

Any 1/4 mile times yet??

The only maintenance that I am aware of is the oil change that you've already been doing.

Do you have to remove the unit from the car to change the oil on those things, or is there a drain plug that can connect a drain hose?

^ the V3 is self-lubricated, with a hose and cap on it. I just changed mine as well not too long ago

Nothing really except to clean and oil the filter every now and again... But that's a given.

+1

When I had my 2005 GT with the V2 SC, it was great knowing that when I changed the oil in the car, the supercharger was being included.

The same intervals would be nice, but it isn't bad. I note the mileage on the empty lubricant bottle for the next change.
