HELP!! Need part name
Not sure if this is GT specific, but I need to know the technical name for the body colored plastic molding that is under the doors. Doesn't appear to serve any purpose except to make the profile look lower. Pretty flimsy plastic...
Would that be the "body side molding" or the "side rail" or what?

They are called rocker skirts. Mike at Casco sells them if you want a color to match your car.

"Rocker molding" perhaps? I'm looking at various online ford parts places.
To help explain, a curb jumped out and bit my Stang today and that flimsy plastic piece is pretty damaged [sm=boohoo.gif] Luckily that's all that got hurt as it could have been much worse. Yes, that kit in the above link does contain the piece and they call it a rocker skirt, but I don't need a whole kit, just the one left side piece.
I'll run by my dealer tomorrow and find out the part and price, etc but I wanted to see if I could get an idea of the cost to avoid total shock.

I just bought the rocker skirts from Mike. If you go on his web page you will see packages and also single stuff for sale. You have to be persistent with him. He doesnt do very well with getting back to you on emails. He charged me $100 for a pair of rocker covers and that included shipping.
