Default Gear Rattle , Ford says its normal?

SO my car has been in FORD for about 1 month now . They have chnaged my clutch to a stage 2, brand new slave cylinder , they changed my 2nd and 3rd syncro . But i still manage to get gear rattle on 4th and 5th gear. They have now ordered 4th and 5th gear , but they are telling me that this is normal ? I kind of understand that gear rattle is normal , but this is quite loud . I have lowered the car, done the basic bolt ons and do have a short throw shifter on . Any ideas?

What exactly do you mean by gear rattle? Is the stick loose and shaking back and forth?

clutch is a stage 2 what? Spec?

i have no gear rattle whatsoever. i dont think you should have any gear rattle.

when you have the rattle, try and play with the handbrake by a little wiggle side to side and see if that makes a difference. dont pull it up. lol.
is it all throughout the rpms in 4th and 5th, or does it get better or worse at higher rpms?

I am with the other guys. When you say rattle, is it like a rattle snake sound? Or a small metallic clinking? Or the sound of a loose nut?

If possible, can you make a vid of this rattling noise and post it?

Is it a driveline vibration at high speed (4th and 5th gear)? I noticed you lowered your car, did you install an adjustible UCA or LCAs to ensure your pinion angle is correct?

Actually, mine when it's warmed up does have a metallic sounding rattle and sounds like it's coming from the shifter ( pro 5.0 ) but when I press my leg against side of the ebrake, it stops immediately....Which is weird...

Not sure what rattle is ... mine had a bearing growl in 4th. They replaced 4th and 5th gear and it did not fix the problem so they installed a new transmission. That fixed it ...
