thanks for the advice. i just returned home from the dealer WITHOUT the mustang. i found the original GVWR/tire pressure drivers door jamb sticker, still attached to a neatly plasma cut piece of drivers door jam, inside the owners manual binder. i handed it to the salesman and said thanks for trying to sell me a totalled car, and took the certified check back to my bank. scary part is carfax shows 0 accident history. DO NOT BUY THE ORANGE 2006 GT FROM 21st CENTURY IN SPRINGFIELD NJ. ITS BEEN WRECKED REAL BAD. looks real good. all the body gaps are spot on except for the rear glass and rear bumper. btw original cover was silver as observed from shock towers and firewall.
again thank you all for all your help, and now to start the search all over again for my first mustang GT
anyone got a non wrecked car for sale around 15000

Oh wow that's terrible. I was wondering why it was on the cheaper side. Keep looking on craigslist in the tri-state area, I've seen some good deals on some nice S197 GT's (NJ and PA specifically)

Exactly....I'll sit on him as I smack him around. Lol.

Bad Bad Bad.....grabber orange is a GREAT color, but I could see how it would disrupt some of the boring color schemes others like....

GO is a hit and miss color to be honest. Sometimes I love it, sometimes it's not my favorite. I wouldn't buy one because of that, but to each his own. I'm not a huge LL fan either, but if done right, any color can look good. Black is still my favorite, but this redfire nonsense is growing on me.
