Default axle back exaust

Thinking of going with either the pypes violator or the flow master American muscle setup kind of like the pypes sound a little better but both sound good has anyone installed these and if so your thoughts...

I have the Flowmaster axle-back set up on my 2010 GT, and I like it a lot. There is a nice low grunt in the low range, and it really comes alive when you get on it. I've heard the Pypes set up and that sounds good too.

I test-fitted both and heard them with my own ears. I went with the Pypes Violators, because they sound better (IMO) and cost less.

Bonus: Once the violators break in and the resonance changes they get a lot deeper and sound even better.

My car is an 05 GT so the factory hangers were fine. It's my understanding that anything after 07 will need the new hangers. So, you would need them.

Just look under your car... if your existing hangers are all rubber, that's not good and you will need the steel and rubber kit. The 05-06 (and some 07's) stangs already have the steel and rubber hangers.

Are you going to install yourself or a shop? Because it can sometimes be a bear to get the tips lined up right with the cutouts. Not impossible by any means, but tough for some. Took me a few tries to get it right, and now they seem to have settled and need to be aligned again.

But STILL LOVE THEM!!!

Well that's convenient!

You are gonna love the Violators. It's a HUGE improvement over stock.

I love the sound of my Violators. Sounds great, not too loud and not too quiet. I remember though the muffler shop that installed them in had a rough time with lining them up perfectly. Other than that they sound awesome.
