At least your's melts away. We are stuck with it from nov-march without a break every year in mid-northern Canada....On the plus side ours cars dont rust out in 5 years here because they dont salt the roads. Today was the warmest day of winter. A balmy +5C

One of the very few reasons why I love not being in the private sector for my programming/IT work any more. It´s like being in High School again praying for enough to get you out of having to go in for the day. If we get more than 6 I´m pretty sure we´ll get the day off.

I dunno what you're talking about. My car is a DD, and it saw snow on the way into work today, and snow on the way home. It's seeing snow tonight, and it may very well see more snow tomorrow if I decide to go to work (I'm a techy so I can pretty much work anywhere I can get an internet connection )

You guys with your garage queens sicken me (or make me jealous) haha.

Mine is in my in-laws garage for the winter. It's been there about 6 weeks and I'm really missing it. I got a hood scoop, cai, and GT floor mats for Christmas and am really anxious to get everything installed. I'm also going to get new axle backs. We've had snow off and on for the last 3 weeks. I guess I'll have to wait a few more weeks

It's all fun and games until the snow melts a week later and you realize there is salt all over your paint that isn't coming off during a wash. Driving in it wasn't a problem at all. Slick spots were fun I don't see how you northern guys do it though... Even after 1 snowstorm here in Alabama my car and paint got trashed. Had to claybar to get the salt off, then had to buff the hairline scratches that the salty claybar caused, then polish and wax. Salt gets all over everything. There's no telling what the undercarriage looks like. :cringe:

After a through wash, this is what my trunk panel looked like:
