Default Factory window louvers

Does anyone know if you can safely remove the factory quarter glass louvers on a 2010 Mustang GT? I'd like to remove them to clean the glass, and I think I've seen someone mention that their held on by extra strenth velcro. Can anyone confirm if this is correct? Thanks.

Any pics? I'm not familiar with any factory window louvers on ANY S197, let alone a '10. Pics would help determine who may have made them for Ford (assuming they ARE OE) and how they're installed.

Did you try pulling on one? If velcro was used then it should pull off. I have been told that is the way Ford does them.

Go to www.photobucket.com, it's a free hosting site that you can upload your pictures to. Once it's uploaded, copy the IMG link and paste it here to your post.

I'm afraid to pull on them because if I do and it's glue holding them on it might not be easy to put them back on.

Your louvers are not OEM, they were added after the car was built.

they are ford accessories and they are either held on with velcro or with 3m tape. either way just pull on them to take them off (just dont pull in the dead center of them).

Did they come with the car? Also are they easy to pull off or do you have to use alot of force? Thanks.
