Default Aftermarket shift ***** for 2011

Are the shift ***** from some of the 2010 - 2011s I've seen - White, round, with black numbers - available for 2010 - 2011s cars that do not have them stpck? How is the install - hopefully just remove old/insert new.

Thanks.

And can someone post a vid on just how to unscrew the ****? Mine is hard as hell to unscrew off. Is there a setscrew or some grub screw that must be first taken off? If so, where is it?

Visit Grabber Pony. I got one from them and I'm very happy with it. The billet aluminum **** was too hot/cold and part of the "5" peeled off my stock ****!

You will need an appropriate collar for it as well. Make sure to get the 2010+ collar unless you have a short-throw shifter or some other thing going on.

I used a strap-wrench to unscrew the ****. Ford uses a thread lock compound to keep it on there, so you definitely need the wrench.

Thanks for the tip. I can actually twist it with my hand, I have the strength to do so. I was just afraid I was marring the threads or post if a grub or setscrew was holding it in place.

As for installing a new ****, what thread lock should be used? Red or blue? Or Purple?

I just unscrewed it off.. did that harm the threads? I think that's what most people did (per GrabberPony's instructions)
