Default 2010 GT New for $19K?

OK so check out this deal. i was at a car show yesterday. A dude in a 10 parked next to me and it turns out we bought our cars from the same dealer and the same sales man. The salesman asked this guy what he would give him for this 10 Gt still sitting on the lot brand new. It's this car:

I know what the price says on this listing, but ignore it. The dude just throws out a number of $19,000 and the sales man jumped at it he said. The salesman told him if he would buy it right now, he thought the manager would go for it. that my friends is one HELL of a deal. if you are in garland, go check it out. they had this exact car on the lot when i bought mine last year. One reason i didn't get it is I wanted the upgrade interior pack. I seem to recall the car has 3.73's in it. The dude didnt take it home because his wife didn't want grabber blue. Fail on her part anyhow, this dude could have been talking out his ***, but this salesman is serious, we bought three cars from him and he has never told me anything he didn't deliver on, which is rare in car sales. With 12's sitting on the lot they will be hot to get rid of this 10.

I don't know what they are asking for the 2 we have at our local dealer, but the Grabber Blue was sitting next to my car last March when I bought mine.

bwahahah, douche.

i don't see why they can't offer massive discounts on fords, the do it on tahoe and suburbans at the local dealer here all the time. Nissan does it on the Murano as well. I am sure they are very motivated to get that car off the lot considering there are now two model years newer sitting right next to it. Hell they have a 10 427r for about 10K off IIRC. as i said, this was related to me by a guy that happened to have used the same dealer/salesman. He could be full of ****. what i can guarantee you is that the car will go for way, way less than that sticker price. Way less. This is also a crazy high volume dealer, i could see them taking a beating on a 10Gt to get it off the lot for sure. they have so many cars they have 24/hr on site guards to watch the rides. they had a damn GT500KR sitting in the weather out front last i was there.

any car 2 model years old still on the lot will be discounted big time. i don't see how you could have thought that wouldnt offend and imply anyone that bought a 10 made a bad decision and should have waited. bygones.
