Default Cervini's window scoop

I'm looking to get me some scoops and I really like Cervini's. I will probably get them pre-painted, so I'm looking at a $400.00 investment and I want to make sure before I take the plunge.

I have two primary concerns: A, that the scoop is flush and has no gaps. B, that they do not fly off while I'm going down the freeway. Has anyone tried these scoops out? I think they are made from urethane which is a plastic I believe. Seems I remember reading somewhere that getting plastic scoops was not a good idea. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

I had this exact set on my 06GT. There is a tiny gap, but that's because the supplied 3M tape creates a small space. However, it's really not noticeable. Additionally, I had mine repainted at one point (they were painted locally both times...not by Cervini) because of a scratch and had to pull them off. I'm a pretty big guy...and they fought me. The only way these are coming off on the highway is if you roll the car!!

These are the best you can buy IMO and worth every cent. You will love them.

I have plastic CDC window louvers on my Mustang.
Make sure to apply them on a warm day, and use PLENTY of 3M tape.
Leave a small gap for water to drain. Mine are starting to come off a little bit, but its not a big deal. When its warm I will take them off and reinstall. You may want to try Velcro from Pep Boys to install. Thats what they use OEM, and I was thinking of going the same way.

I have these on my 09, and I like them, no problem with them flying off. Like previously said, a small gap is created by the 3m tape but not really noticable.

I went with SHR louvers and love them! No need to worry about them coming off because they replace the factory window.
