Just bought a 2012
Thanks for the responses guys. This is my first new car purchase too. USAA is the ****! I have all of my banking, insurance and loans through them. Insurance and payments are really cheap on it. First thing I'm going to do is get the windows tinted. I just need to find out what the tint laws are in California. I agree on the wheels too! I'm sure he'll have no problem putting miles on it. He's obsessed with Mustangs just as much as I am
That is one of the safest ways that I know of. Doing it as slowly as possible with enough heat to leave as little residue as you can. With what residue is left some people use goo-gone but I'd be afraid that it'd mess up the paint...a car wash soap in warm water should get the sticky off just fine once you get the label off.
California vehicle code, 26708. (a) (1) A person shall not drive any motor vehicle with any object or material placed, displayed, installed, affixed, or applied upon the windshield or side or rear windows.
(2) A person shall not drive any motor vehicle with any object or material placed, displayed, installed, affixed, or applied in or upon the vehicle that obstructs or reduces the driver’s clear view through the windshield or side windows.
Nice ride..I love the wheels if only someone would make them in a staggered setup. What part of California are you from?

I'm not from California. I'm in the Navy and I'm getting transferred to San Diego, CA. I've been searching the forums and I've seen 90% of the people from CA say that they have 35% or 50% on the passenger and driver's side windows and they haven't been bothered. Are yours tinted at all Loots?
I know this very car. It's at the dealership on Arapahoe Road, isnt it?? Thats just cool. I'll weigh in on removing dealership sticker cuz they come off of every ride I ever buy. If its a sticker type (not like a hard plastic) I use a hair dryer instead of a heat gun. Heat gun improperly used can damage your paint. Then I use goo gone. I've never had any problems with using goo gone after to remove adhesive. Some dealerships will remove it right there when you buy it too...no problem.
