After agonizing about whether I would even receive the Mustang or not I finally got the phone call that I was expecting all this time, with the dealership giving me a VIN and a delivery date of April 24th. So let's see here: Accident happened in August, placed an order for a '11 GT in November, got recalled, and finally a delivery date in less than 3 weeks for a '12GT. So that will be almost 8 months without a stang It's as if I never had one to begin with, been so long....

 

Congrats man! I don't know how you lasted 8 months without a stang...I could never do it again!

 

Congrats! Now that I have one I don't know if I couldbe without. It will be a long month for you, I hate waiting for a new car.

When my car arrived at the dealership I immediately knew I wanted it, but the three week wait necessary for a new battery, a boost gauge and arranging getting the car, was torture. Each day was just another day it wasn't officially mine.

 

Oh believe me, I'll make sure to never do such a thing again! lol. Just driving the car my job provided and taking public transportation was torture enough for me.

Man I don't know how you waited that long. I didn't have my car for a month and I started going insane so I can only imagine 8 months. Keep us updated

The longest I've gone is a week when I had to go out of town for business....and that was torture!
