So I finally bought my first performance mod ever. I bought the JLT CAI and Tuner combo from AM for $545. Last year I bought the pypes pype bomb axel back kit from them but this is the first mod that I've bought for any car that I've owned that will increase performance. I really enjoyed installing the exhaust so I look forward to getting the CAI and tuner.

Next on the list will hopefully be FRPP 4.10 gears sometime this summer.

Congrats! CAI + Tune(s) definitely put a smile on my face and took 1/2 second off my 1/4 mile times.

actually I just placed the order and just received the email to register for tunes. Will post once I get it squared away.

Will be a little bit before I can do it. Will be a couple hours since I am at work and will have to go to the garage to get the computer code.

 

There's a reason that about 70% of the forum are running custom tunes.

 

So are you auto or manual?? I have an auto and was regretting that decision until I got the tune from AM. Now, I haven't doubted my purchase anymore

 

I feel like we're twins...if you own a screaming yellow GT you're my long lost brother! I have the exact same mods, and just recently got the JLT/tune combo from AM...literally just sent them my computer code for the tune...haha...Post some pics when the installs done and let us know what you think of the tune!

 

I went with 87, 89, and 91 Tunes for right now. We dont have 93 octane here in Phoenix, or if we do, its not around where I am at. Got the email and looks like it was shipped today so looking forward to getting it. Will post pics when its received.
