Engine Enamel
Well, I was wondering if anyone else has used spray on engine enamel?
I bought a can a few weeks ago from the hardware store and used it for quite a few things, actually.
I sprayed my antenna with it because the pliers were starting to work through the paint from taking it off and putting it on
I also prayed my ugly silver cold air intake, so now its a glossy black and looks amazing
I'm thinking about doing the metal part of my alternator and a lot of other metal surfaces under the hood since a lot of components will be temporarily removed for a full inspection of everything under the hood, giving me easy access
So, has anyone else used it?

It should be good to go on the parts mentioned. I used some Ford Blue engine enamel under the hood on my coil covers, fuse box cover, and wiper fluid fill cover. After a few days of some fun road driving the stuff is holding up flawlessly, even when painted onto plastic.
Has a thumbs up from me.
