Which cold air?
im looking to get a cold air and tuner and i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. i know as far as a tuner goes the SCT X3 is pretty much the way to go but im not so sure about which cold air to choose..
i read that the steeda intake + tune adds 44hp and 52lbs of torque which im not sure if i believe but.. if anyone has the steeda or any other type of intake they enjoy and see alot of gain with, let me know!

I just got the steeda intake and a tuner a week or so ago and im very happy with it. It looks like you have a 2011 so i cant really say much about cold air kits for it but the steeda kit for my 07 is a real high quality piece.
I got a Steeda intake as well for my 2010. The two things that I really am impressed with is the fact that it is very well designed, and the fact that it is not only an open element, but also uses the factory intake "scoop" from behind the grill. I also got Bama tunes for it and it is a lot better than stock. I wrestled with buying or not buying a CAI but I am glad I did.
In the off road world I've seen way too much dirt leak past re-usable type cleaning elements (i.e. K&N). Have first hand experience after cleaning the dirt out of my throttle body.
For that reason, I stuck with the Ford version. Element looks like it will stop more than just the larger clunks... Simply assuming the engineers at Ford realize this as well..

I had JLT and I loved it. It was very easy to install and was the least expensive out of all of them.
As Nuke said, the most important thing is the tunes. I got mine from Bama and they were very nice and accomadating (I accidentally told them I had the wrong gears and they sent out new tunes within 24 hours)...plus you get free tunes for life. For me, I have had great customer service with american muscle so whenever I get the cobra I am looking for, I will be buying parts from them again....
