Default 05-09 Exhaust

I am wondering if anyone has tried to put the new 2011-12 GT500 axle back on a 05-09 GT? If so did you have to get the GT500 "H" pipe as well?

I would think that, if there WAS a difference, that it would require different midpipes, not the H-pipe.

Nuke you are correct. I did some more research and found that any exhaust shop can modify the GT500 muffler inlets and it can be used on an 05-09 GT. Apparently the new GT500 uses a ball and socket type inlet instead of the 05-09 slip on type.

i think the tips are longer too, so they'll stick out on an 05-09

Aren't the 11-up 3" piping versus 2.5" for 05-09? Not sure if the hangers were rejiggered.
